PAIN MANAGEMENT

There are two different types of pain – acute and chronic pain.

Acute pain (short-term pain) is usually a result of an accident or temporary illness.

Chronic pain, (long-term pain) may be a result of a medical condition such as:

  • Arthritis

  • Cancer

  • Cluster headaches and migraines

  • Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS)

  • Endometriosis

  • Fibromyalgia

  • Multiple sclerosis (MS)

  • Sciatica and back pain

  • Pain management

Through hypnosis, I will help you into deep relaxation which allows you to reduce stress, to relax the nervous system and to change the thought patterns related to pain by making the link between your body your mind and your spirit.

There are also other different relaxation techniques I can teach you and help you with for pain relief including visualizations, meditation, progressive muscle relaxation and breathing techniques.

Please be aware that although hypnotherapy can be an effective way of managing pain, chronic pain, and surgery-related pain, it works as a complementary therapy, designed to be used in conjunction with traditional medicine.

It is worth trying as it has a very high rate of success!
